The Viking Sal Senior Center is a community recreation center serving area residents, 55 and over since 1978. The Viking Sal Senior Center’s purpose is to serve as a community focal point on aging where older persons as individuals or in groups come together for services and activities, which enhance their involvement in and with the community. These programs consist of a variety of supportive services and activities, which include education, research, advocacy, leadership development, volunteer opportunities, health, nutrition, and social work. The center also serves as a community resource for information on aging and developing new approaches to aging programs.

The center welcomes new participants and volunteers. A current newsletter outlining services and activities is available each month. A subscription, to have the newsletter mailed to your home is $10 per year. Call the center at 998-1556 and we will send you a complimentary newsletter for three months.
